COMINGSOON! KREWE YOUTH RUGBY ACADEMY!

The Tampa Bay Krewe Rugby Club is pleased to announce that the Krewe Rugby Academy for youth players under the age of 19. Players do not have to be currently enrolled in High school but have to be under 19 years of age on September 1st 2010. Training will begin on Tuesday August 24th at Krewe's training ground, the North Tampa Boysand Girls' Club.  2313 East Yukon Street, Tampa, FL. Practice times will be from 6:30- 8:30 PM on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

U19 players and coaches from all Tampa area clubs are welcome to train at the Academy before the U19 starts in January 2011. New players are welcome and no experience is necessary.

The Tampa Bay Krewe Rugby Club are the current USA Rugby Division 2 Mens National Champions posting a 25-1 record last season. The Division 3 team were repeat winners of the Florida Cup and Co-Champions of the division. Krewe also fields a "Developmental" team for players learning the game along with social players.The club is excited about creating their own Krewe "Pirates" U19 teamand are delighted to announce the addition of Larry Grant to the coaching staff, to supplement last year's group of coaches led by HeadCoach Dai Morgan,. Coach Grant was very successful with both the Tampa Titans RFC and USF and the club are delighted to secure his services. A Registration page will be available on the Krewe website very shortly.
